I bought a canned cake thinking it would be a fun treat after a long day, but when I opened the item it tasted sour and just wrong. I brought it back to tell the manager that the product must have expired, but they did not believe it could be bad. I was asking for an exchange to hopefully try a non expired one, this option was refused and I threw the spoiled item away in front of the manager. I will not be returning as I did not enjoy food poisoning on top of paying 13$ for a small item. A friend had confirmed that it smelled like a rotten egg and I vomited after consuming less than a teaspoon of the product. Editing to add the seller is lying, I asked for an exchange and this option was denied.

I always suspected this place was the worst. Staff have always been apathetic at best, rude at worst, but now that the latest sanitation grade has come out and revealed the NUMEROUS issues, I’ll make sure to never again patronize this pathetic excuse of a bodega. Not even a real bodega. Anyway you should really read the health report from 2026. 83.5 sanitation rating is indicative of some next level laziness from ownership, management, and staff. Just a few things I’ve noted from the health report: - 14 P/PF violations. 5 repeat offenses. - observed employee drinking mug of coffee while prepping food - no handwashing when switching tasks - no paper towels at hand wash station - chicken gnocchi was holding at 110 in the buffet. Health code says 135 minimum. - salad bar filled past fill line and contents holding at above 41f. Has to be at 41f or (preferably) below. - open container of sour cream in the walk in was dated April 2026 - found a can of pesticides under the stairs. Household use pesticides can’t be used in a commercial space. - entirely incorrect cooling methods for sandwiches and soups - direct quote here: Thawing (Pf) During the inspection, the facility was actively t

A few months ago i was randomly here looking for some bottles of wine. I was recommended some great wines which i bought and enjoyed but at the time i was specifically looking for Montepulciano, which they didn’t have. I remember he had me write the name down, and i thought it was random and unlikely they were gonna change stock because of me. Today i was in the area and looked specifically for this store because i loved the care - and they had at least 3 versions of Montepulciano. I ended up buying 4 bottles just to try and have at home. This is genuinely so sweet

Why did y’all charge me $10 for some orange juice, where I can get some from Walmart or Target for half that price and maybe cheaper? This is not an affordable marketplace, and to be honest, y’all need to go back and really look at those prices and compare them to other stores. Overall, the employees were nice, and the place was clean, just not worth the $10 for orange juice.
